Life Legacy
Reidsville – Bernard Jackson died Friday, September 16, 2011. Survivors are: son, Brandon Corbett; beloved mother, Clara Johnson Jackson; six sisters, Gladys Anderson (Wilford), Clarinda Mims (William), Annie Pearl Jackson, Cathy Kelly, Della Gaston and Brenda Jackson; three brothers, Rev. John Reynolds (Ruby), Pleas Jackson, Jr. and James Jackson; aunts, Bernice Jackson, Clara Johnson and Sue Johnson; devoted caregiver, Mattie Tracey (Foster); special friends, Beverly Herbin, Edna “Puddin” Ware and Cynthia Logan; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 from the West End Baptist Church, 806 Vance Street. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the church and may be contacted other times at 701 Barnes Street. Funeral arrangements are by Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street.
